In vitro characterization of pathological phenotypes in gene-edited iPSC-derived neurons with MAPT and LRRK2 mutations

Dr Priyanka Dutta-Passecker presented our work in collaboration with Horizon Discovery and Prof Spillantini's research group (University of Cambridge) at the 13th international conference on Alzheimer's & Parkinson's Diseases (ADPD 2017) in Vienna, Austria. During this presentation Dr Dutta-Passecker discussed the following:

  • The need for iPSC-derived gene-edited models of neurodegenerative disease
  • The generation, validation and characterization of the axolGEM (genetically edited model) iPSC-Derived Neural Stem Cells carry disease-associated MAPT and LRRK2 mutations including
