Transcriptome Analysis of Axol Cortical NSCs and Neurons

 


To compare the expression profiles of iPS cells vs Axol Cortical Neural Stem Cells, we used the Affymetrix GeneChip® Human Transcriptome Array 2.0 platform. Results were analysed using Affymetrix® Expression Console™ and Affymetrix® Transcriptome Analysis Console (TAC) 2.0 Software. 

Down-regulated Genes in Axol Human Neural Stem Cells (ax0016)

Expression of genes involved in pluripotency e.g. Oct4 and Nanog is down-regulated in Cortical Neural Stem Cells in comparison to the expression levels observed in their induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) parental line. 


Up-regulated Genes in Axol Human Neural Stem Cells (ax0016)

NSC Markers

Expression of NSC markers, e.g. FOXG1 and Musashi 1 is up-regulated in Axol Cortical Neural Stem Cells in comparison to their iPSC parental line.
