Our iPSC-derived astrocytes are cryopreserved for convenience, and they are assay-ready within 48 hrsOnce thawed, Axol's astrocytes display all indicative astrocytic markers and will respond to glutamate stimulation, a key functional characteristic within 48-60 hrs. They also express markers showing that Axol's Human iPSC-derived astrocytes are physiologically representative of human primary astrocytes.

All Axol's cardiomyocytes are derived from human iPSCs and ONLY human iPSCs. We do NOT use animal cells or embryonic stem cells (ESCs).
