Description
Axol Fibronectin Coating Solution can be used to promote attachment of a wide variety of cell types. It has been validated to promote attachment of Axol iPSC-Derived Ventricular Cardiomyocytes after thawing.
The human fibronectin coating solution is cell culture tested and is negative for human viruses and microbial contamination.
The recommended working concentration varies depending on cell type:
Human iPSC-Derived Endothelial Colony Forming Cells 1:100
Human iPSC-Derived Ventricular Cardiomyocytes 1:100 (can be further optimized for individual experiments)
Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) (pre-adipocyte, adipose tissue-derived, umbilical cord-derived and bone marrow-derived) 1:50
Dilute Fibronectin Coating Solution in sterile water and mix well. Completely cover the wells to coat and incubate overnight at 37oC in a humidified incubator. Aspirate the coating solution prior to seeding the cells.
Once diluted, use immediately as diluted Fibronectin Coating Solution is not stable for extended periods of time.
Fibronectin Coating Solution should be stored in small concentrated aliquots to reduce freeze-thaw cycles.
