Description

Axol’s Human iPSC-derived Microglial Precursors are generated using a fully defined medium. The cells are shipped live in our microglial maintenance medium. Three million cells are packed in each vial enough for plating 1x 96-well plate. 

After 14 days of differentiation and maturation in the microglial maintenance medium, the cells express key microglia-specific markers, such as transmembrane protein 119 (TMEM119) and Purinergic Receptor P2Y12 (P2RY12), and myeloid markers TREM2 and IBA-1. 

This product is ideal for creating co-culture of microglia and neurons for neuro-immunological studies and assay development.
