Human Pericytes (primary/low passage) derived from placenta tissue. Our human pericytes express CD13, PDGFr (platelet derived growth factor receptor) and NG2 (chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4) markers. The pericytes have a guaranteed viability of >90%.
Pericytes are associated predominantly with endothelial cells, and have a critical role in maintaining the microvascular system. Pericytes have an active role in the survival, growth, migration as well as differentiation of endothelial cells.
